I guess I'll update.

Well I figured today I would finally post an update and let you all know what I've been up to. So here it goes. From Hilary's blog you all know that we went to the science center not too long ago. We had a lot of fun. Since the science center, there hasn't really been anything too interesting other then work being INSANELY busy. This weekend I am gonna relax a bit at Steph's house. Spending thanksgiving and my birthday there. The night of the 8th, I hopefully will be going out with my friends Kyle and Shannon. The coolest part is its Kyle's birthday on the 8th as well. So we should have some fun. After the nice relaxing weekend at Stephs, I will come back to Toronto, and tuesday we have our staff party. It will be fun, well how could any open bar party not be fun... On October 15th I am taking my PATI, PREP, and WCT test for metro, and hopefully will pass. but not holding my breath.

So yeah, thats my life right now. Hopefully i'll have some pictures to post after this weekend and staff party.

Well after being bothered by my sister for a while about posting some message on this damn blog I have finally realized that I have some exciting news to share with you all. Well I've told most of you already. But its pretty rad so I will share it again. Tuesday I worked until 7, after work I went to the baseball game. I got the ticket from the managers at my work. Me and one of the servers went to see the game. BUT WAIT. where were our seats... OH thats right.. we're talking about the Labatts Platinum box seats.. :O oh yeah.. They treated us like kings.. well me like a king, her like a queen. Drank all the beer we wanted ate all the food we wanted.. and watched the game.. Well neither of us are really into baseball so we make the game just one big drinking game. TONES OF FUN. At the end of the night I went back to Jack Astors to thank the managers, and they bought me more drinks at the bar. WHAT A NIGHT.

Nothing new, but I'll update

Well, not much has been exciting in my life lately. Other then the family reunion, and soon Steph's wedding. Oh wait this weekend that just passed I went to Wasaga beach. That was pretty cool. I was shocked just how warm the water was, and how shallow the water was. It was so nice to get away from Toronto for the weekend, and relax at Steph's .. Thanks once again Steph I had loads of fun. Just to tease the rest of the family and torture mum a lil, its nice to know that I can let Steph know secrets and that they won't be delivered. I bet mother would love to know but too bad :P. Steph don't let me down.

Not much more news about the Policing thing that I told you all about. I have to go to a mentoring thing, i believe its on Aug 14, then once i have finished that I will book my appointment to take some tests so that I can apply.

Oh yeah this monday (31st) I will be going to get my Koi fish finished. Its gonna be so freaking sweet.

Well I'll keep you all posted with what lil excitement I have in my life right now. Until then ummmmmmm keep on .... I don't know... Doing what you do best... rocking... ummm ok yeah lets just end it there before you all think I am retarded.. Ok bye

Run and tattoo.

Well today I did my first timed 5K. It seemed to go really well. The run started great, nice night, nice scenery, and not too many people on the trail. At one point I ran by an indian guy who decided he would cheer me on "Good work, keep on going". How nice of him. Continued running ankle started to hurt a lil, but whatever I was almost done. So finally was finished my 5k.... 34 mins.. I guess thats ok.... WAIT... Oops I ran 5.5 last marker my watch was under 31 min. NICE... So I am happy.

Came home and discussed my next tattoo adventure. No my fish isn't done yet. Still gotta reschedual my appointment. (damn you ttc). So my next tattoo will finish off a bit of a wrist band. As you all know I have Cain on my inside left wrist.. SO i've decided I will get Evenden on the outside of the so it forms a wrist band. Hilary is gonna join me... Working on mum, Meg you better be in... Oh yeah Meg where's your Cain tattoo?... Steph I know you aren't into tattoos.. So i have an Idea... Can we buy a black marker. and ask the guy just to draw it on you, so that way its like we all got it together.. LMAO..

Ok thats my idea.. Anyone else in for it, just let me know... I'm thinking July 15th... Sometime in the morning before the reunion... Whos IN????

A pirate and damn proud.

Well, today I had the afternoon off from work.. So there were a few cds that I well want, but don't want to spend money... Thank god for the internet with a lil bit of knowledge I now have 10 new albums... Some may think that I am stealing but I look at it as doing a good deed... Almost like a Robin Hood kinda thing.

When I was younger, cds were 25$, ever since music could be found on the internet, music prices have dropped by 15$, and there are more tours, and bands give more to there shows. So now sure I could be thankful and be like "ok now I will buy it.." but screw that.. Someone has to keep the cause going. So if you ever go by a cd, and think "wow, this is cheap"... I want you to realize its all cause of people like me.... Yeah for free stuff.

So excited for the family reunion.

After you have thought about this for a while then I hope you have realized that the reason for this is because you are a descendent of Thomas Evenden. After TJ's wedding I realized there is a place where we all fit in, and we aren't considered "crack heads". And thats at family get togethers. So I am excited.. SO SO SO EXCITED.

Well I am here reading peoples blogs seeing what everyone has been up to... And it appears that dad woke up to write one blog, megan had time for us, hilary well I don't know what that kid is up to, and apparently Steph has no life other then Matt and her Dog. OH and don't get me started on Laurence... So i look at his blog and whats the date 2005.... Common dude you really have to pick up and let us all know what the hell is going on.

So All of you mentioned... Oh yeah Devon you too. START BLOGGING... Or else I will phone the police and let them know you are all dead.

Mmmmm Fruit...

So yeah I just finished breakfast and its so yummy. Forget cereal or crappy toast.. how about a big bowl of fruit.. Now thats breakfast.

OH yeah on a side note. I badly want sleeve tattoos... If you don't know what those are then you are missing out. They are beautiful and I am looking forward to the day when I can gat mine.

Days turn into nights, then back to days.

As I'm sitting here in my room with the lights out listening to some music that is allowing my mind to be brough into fantacy and adventure, I have decided to write something. Not sure what yet. Maybe I could bestow some of my knowledge to you all. But I am not certain that you all are ready for it. Things I am learning now a days is bringing me closer to who I really am. Not sure what exactly that means yet, but I am sure that once I realize it, then I will know. Until then I will continue with my daily events.

Four years devoted to a certain goal, has now come to an end. On June 14 I will be officially graduated. Mind you I do not wish to attend the ceremony. Sure I am proud of what I have accomplished but to me its more of a look at what you've passed up for this. Among the professions that I would be happy doing, now that I am an "educated", I can now consider another profession. Which means nothing to me, because I have no clue what one I wish to choose.

In order to keep my options open I am starting a new activity. I have decided to take on the family tradition and start running. Maybe one day I will be fit enought to run a marathon, but thats not my goal. A different goal is in mind which I must prepare for, if I decide to take that path. So until I decide, I'll pick up my knives at work, tie my shoes to run, type away at a computer, and keep my mind busy so that I won't go crazy while figuring out my life.

Hmmm well I think thats enough writing for now. Maybe I'll go stare up at the sky and dream of my adventure. Who knows what will happen, where I will go, or who I will meet but until then...........

Another day begins with a blog.

Well yesterday I got on the bus.... Looked the TTC driver right in the eyes... and said..... "Mr. TTC man how do you sleep at night fucking everyone else over". Then I took my fist and delivered it to his right eye... He was crying alot. Then when he fell on the ground crying I continued to kick him saying "what about the people" everytime i kicked.

Well not really but that would have been a story if that really happened. I would be a super hero for all the TTC riders. They would hail me. Call me Lord Thomas our Saviour. Hmm wait there was a guy that some people called our Saviour. I wonder if he kicked a TTC drivers ass. LMAO..

Ok enought goofing around. Lets see, so I got on the bus the same as everyday. Listened to my music, and said "Thank you" as I was disembarking(hmm think thats spelt right) the bus. Went to work for 3 hours, it was a short shift because I was suppost to be hurting from my tattoo monday. Thanks for cancelling my appointment TTC... Ok back to my story.. Got of work, went for a walk downtown, and stopped by New Tribe. Asked if I could get an appointment for sunday... But NOPE... He is all booked. So now I have to wait till I know next weeks schedual... SO I decided to continue my walk enjoying the warm weather. The best part of it is the end of the day I went for beer with my old roommate Lisa.

So on a nice patio, pitcher on table, glass full in hand we had so much fun talking and remembering the old days when we partied everynight(oh first year university)... As we were talking she was like "OH are you missing your remote for your TV."... I nearly jumped because yes i was and I can't watch movies, or play games without it. Apparently there is no "tv/video" button on the tv... only on the remote. So yeah thats kinda fun. Alot of people joined us, we told jokes, talked (might I add that her friends well one of them is smoking hot)... And thats my day... I hope you all enjoyed my stories, even if they aren't full the truth. But whatever, I am a son of Dave Cain, so you must wonder "when are my stories ever the truth".

WAIT I just relized, if I am son of David... and the TTC people refer to me as Lord Thomas our Saviour. What does that make my father... Hmmm OMG could I be the son of......... :O Phone the Pope, we will all be saved...

Back to le work...

Well after a waste of a day off, today I get to go back to work... Still pretty pissed at TTC for their strike.. Maybe I will punch the driver of the bus in the face today. That will teach him... OH WAIT... Isn't that the reason they went on strike... for their own safety. Well then I think that I will punch him in the face only to support their cause. Better yet.... EVERYONE punch a TTC driver, if we all do it then they will have to do something about the drivers safety.

See I am such a great problem solver... New Slogan "Start your day with your fist in the drivers face"... I like it. Now all I have to do is make buttons, flyers, and a couple posters. TTC will thank me. Well atleast thats how I see things.

Well I think thats about all I have to say for the moment.

Well today I was suppost to go and get my tattoo finished.. But apparently in this city there are a bunch of babies that drive busses and subway cars. They decided to go on some illegal stike today which prevented me from going to get it done today... SO I have come to the conclusion that anyone that works for TTC should be kicked out Canada... They sit on their ass all day drive a bus/subway and get good pay and benefits.. I don't know but that seems like a easy job. So what on earth could they be complaining about...

TTC needs to get its as kicked.

Sleep = Tired

Well its about 1230 now.. I just got home from an 11 hour shift which was insane busy today. So sleepy, but I have to relax a lil before I can lay down to go to bed... Otherwise it will be 5am before I get to sleep. So yeah, after my wonderful 4 days off, getting back to work is fun and exhausting. Over the last couple days we have taken on a few new servers, which for the record are hot. So that makes me smile :D...

Hmm ok other then work in my life, well thats about all i got... My next day off is monday, and forget relaxing.. I am going to get my tattoo finished... Think a day off, and I am paying for a few more hours of pain... Sounds exciting to me. I can't wait. I would at this point like to thank mum who has just made a contribution (grad gift) to my wonderful piece of art work on my side. I am sure she will love it, and mum its almost time that me and you go get a tattoo together...

Busy Busy Jacks

Well I figured its about time for an update. Currently in my life I have one hobby, and that is working. Jack Astors is keeping me extremely busy which is nice because it gives me something to do, and money to spend... Oops did I write spend maybe I should say put back on my student loan. Time to pay back all that money. :(

I am pretty excited about this weekend coming up. Not only is it TJ's wedding but also I have both sat and sun off. Two days off in a row that will be a nice feeling, but mon - fri will be hell.

The new apartment is really good. Its nice because somedays I come home and they made diner and put some aside for me. I do the same but I only make diner once or twice a week, seeing how I have a busy work schedual.

OH on a side not about my job. My sous-chef Candy is freaking hot, along with probably 85% of the female servers. OH yeah and there are about 10ish gay servers all which are pretty damn funny... One of them refers to himself as the princess ballerina(ummm maybe thats spelt right), and he will dance around work sometimes.. They are kinda cool about us teasing them about doing dudes. SO thats good. LMAO..

WWTD

Well, all out of school and bored out of my mind. So last week I decided I had to find any type of job cause I am bored out of my mind. So now I work at Jack Astors right downtown of Toronto. So that should keep me busy in the mean time. I have been applying for about 10 million more jobs trying to get into the computer field.

Also, I have now moved, and my new room is all set up. My new place rocks, I live with a couple that I worked with for 4 years at the Falafel Hut. They are late 20s. Its kinda funny because they watch alot of spanish television, and last night she made me diner, and well...... It was so good. Beats mums vegetarian cooking anyday. LMAO (sorry mum).

Well off to work now. I hope this fills you all in on what I have been up to lately.

Basically done

Well today I finished up my french spoken test. Now I only have one exam left, and thats on the 24 of April. Astronomy is my last one, which is kinda nice because I have to do some readings for it, but the exam won't be hard. So basically I am all done. Today after my french test i walked outside and it was such a nice day, which only added to how I felt.

Its so nice to know that after 4 years 1 more exam is left... I made it, thats something that I thought I wouldn't be saying. As I was sitting outside I started to think what will be next in life for me. Hopefully things will fall into pieces nicely, but its nice to know that I know have a degree and can start a career in the field that I want. Well I just have to get hired that is.

As you all know that I haven't really had any luck yet in the job hunt. So after much thought I have decided that I will continue to live in Toronto over the summer. Two people that I work with now have a extra room, and they asked if I would like to live with them. I figure that I will stay the summer in hopes that I will find a job that is in the Computer Field. If the summer passes and nothing comes up then I will go on a vacation. Not sure where, but it will be nice. So those are my plans for now. As much as a vacation sounds nice, a career sounds much nicer.

Well thats it for now. I am gonna go for a walk seeing how its such a nice day today. Maybe I will go get some ice cream....:D
